WIEN, 21 NOVEMBER – Addressing today the Industrial Development Board of UNIDO, the Italian Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Alessandro Cortese, reiterated Italy’s strong support to the activities of the agency by providing funding, innovation and facilitating partnerships with the Italian private sector.
Italy is one of the main donors of UNIDO, said Cortese. Cooperation between UNIDO and the Italian Government is long-standing, also in the light of the work of UNIDO’s Italian Office for Technological Promotion and Investment (UNIDO ITPO Italy) in mobilizing investment and technology transfer to the benefit of developing countries.
