NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 3 – Conflicts and climate change are forcing people from their homes, amidst a cost of living crisis most devastating for the poorest. Against this backdrop, on Monday UNHCR Filippo Grandi addressed the UNGA Third Committee. “We need solutions to help those forced to flee. UNHCR stands ready to help find them”. said Grandi.
While in New York, the High Commissioner met the Italian Permanent Representative to the UN, Maurizio Massari: “Filippo Grandi is relentlessly working to tackle major humanitarian crises such as the ones in the Horn of Africa and Ukraine.
