VENICE, NOVEMBER 3 – The future of South East Europe and the Mediterranean in the context of climate change: a UNESCO perspective. Key climate change issues in South East Europe and the Mediterranean region will be discussed in a symposium in Venice aimed at establishing a dialogue on how climate change has affected regions, especially its water resources and the Mediterranean Sea.
Scientists, universities and research institutions, site managers, education specialists, local authorities, as well as youth for climate change will be in attendance. Purpose of the meeting, from November 6 to November 8, is to contribute to a more climate resilient Mediterranean. This symposium will delve into responding effectively to UNESCO designated sites, in terms of nature and culture. (@OnuItalia)
