Inter Campus is back at the UN to share its experiences with children with disabilities

NEW YORK, JUNE 11 – Just over a year on from Inter Campus’ last appearance at a United Nations event in New York, the Italian soccer team’s worldwide social project will be back at the UN Headquarters on Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 June to share its experiences on children’s rights. Sport and its benefits for disabled people are the themes at the two side-events that Inter Campus will be attending.

‘Ensuring inclusion of persons with disabilities in a changing world: the role of sports and culture’ which was organised by Italy’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations and ‘United for All Peoples – UP’ in collaboration with the Division for Inclusive Social Development (DISD) NGO. Inter Campus will feature at both conferences while at UN Headquarters the XII Conference ong the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is unrolling.

It’s the fifth time that Inter Campus is back at the United Nations, this time thanks to the support of Pirelli Tire North America. Pirelli has been a partner of Inter Campus in a project of sports education throughout the world since 1997. Mission: to support growth and the right to play.(@OnuItalia)
